RPS Board of Trustees

The BOT is the legal body empowered under the Education Act 1989 and Regulations of Parliament to govern the school in accordance with the Acts and Regulations of Parliament and the school's own Charter. The essence of trusteeship is that all Trustees on the Board hold in trust for the community the successful education of all children enrolled at the school. Board meetings are held in term time and are advertised in the school newsletter. These meetings are open to the public and parents are encouraged to attend.

RPS Parent-Teacher Association

This group supports the school in a variety of ways: including general support & help for the staff; organising school functions; and general fundraising.

RPS School Development Trust

In 1998 the Remuera Primary School Development Trust was established. The Trust's aim is to provide an enduring benefit for both present and future generations of students through the prudent development of a capital fund. Contributions to the Trust are invested securely and the interest earned is used to benefit the school. To date this has been used to fund teacher professional development.
