PTA

Who are we?

The Remuera Primary School PTA serves the staff and families of Remuera Primary School. Thanks to the voluntary involvement of parents within our community we are able to provide people and resources to get jobs done and implement fundraising to support the needs of the school as it grows and changes.

What we do

The PTA's activites range from organising gardening bees and teacher resource days to planning fundraising events on a variety of scales from monthly sausage sizzles to the legendary quiz night.

PTA Meetings

The PTA and a member of the teaching staff meet every 6 weeks to coordinate current and future activities. Everybody is welcome and encouraged to attend these meetings. The PTA would not exist without the active involvement of parents from within our school community.

What you can do

There are two main ways that you can help:

1. Join the PTA

The PTA always needs new and enthusiastic members. Come along to a meeting and find out how you can get involved. Not only will you be helping out our school but being a part of the PTA is a wonderful way to get to know the families within your community.

2. Become a Friend of the PTA

If you cant make meetings but would still like to help out on a more ad hoc basis then you can be a Friend of the PTA. Just click on the link to PTA Events and Activities for this year [PTA Events and Activites 2012], choose an event or activity and email the person named as contact for that event or activity.
