Who We Are?

The Remuera Primary School PTA exists to create memorable experiences for our children and families whilst delivering fundraising to the school Board of Trustees (BOT) for school needs, or wants, which are not currently funded by the government.

The underlying role of the PTA is to support both the School Leadership and the BOT in fulfilling their responsibilities whilst also creating a great community that families of our school feel welcome to be part of.

Getting involved

We believe that every parent, caregiver and teacher at Remuera Primary School is a member of the PTA. We encourage you to muck in, be involved and have fun! You do not have to sign up, or attend PTA meetings, to volunteer for the many things the PTA organises. However, attending monthly PTA meetings can be a great way to meet new people whilst discussing the goals of our school, and participating in an open forum where ideas are shared and questions can be heard and answered.

Fundraising - Every Little Bit helps

Our amazing events not only serve as fundraisers but as community builders. Actively supporting these events is a great way to meet other like-minded families whilst also setting a great example to our children by illustrating collaboration in action.

Please see the school calendar for our up and coming events or request to sign up to our mailing list.
In conclusion the PTA needs to be a self-fulfilling legacy, a team of people who are constantly evolving. A work load shared whilst having fun supporting our school.
We constantly strive to do the best we can to assist the school in creating a great educational environment for our children. We warmly welcome any queries or suggestions to PTAChair@rps.school.nz.
