Student Absence

IF YOUR CHILD WILL BE ABSENT / OR LATE TO SCHOOL PLEASE ENSURE YOU ADVISE THE OFFICE office2@rps.school.nz PRIOR TO 8.55AM 

Our attendance staff are legally required to account for the whereabouts of each student daily.   If your child has been marked absent without reason, you will receive text notifications that can be simply replied to.  These notifications will continue to be sent until a reason has been received.

Please DO NOT rely on classroom teachers passing absences on to the office team, all absences/lateness must be advised directly to the office and you can CC in the teacher.
