Notification of Student Absense

IF YOUR CHILD WILL BE ABSENT / OR LATE TO SCHOOL YOU MUST ADVISE THE OFFICE office2@rps.school.nz or via the school APP PRIOR TO 8.55AM 

IF EMAILING THE TEACHER YOU MUST COPY IN THE SCHOOL OFFICE, TEACHERS OFTEN DO NOT CHECK THEIR EMAILS DURING CLASS TIME

If your child has been marked absent without reason, you will receive ONE text notifications that can be simply replied to.  If we receive no reply to the text notification your child will be marked as Truant and this information passed to the MOE.

Our attendance staff are legally required to account for the whereabouts of each student daily.
